[0:00] Last week we left off with Haman being hanged, but also we made a statement concerning Satan!
[0:29] You know, work against the flesh and all those, or work upon the flesh and all those things. And then we mentioned the fact that there's a passage of Scripture that dealt with the idea that the day is going to come when the personage, if you will, of Satan is exposed.
[0:49] And that's found in Isaiah chapter 14. If you want to look there with me, I'm going to read this to you out of the Amplified. And if I can find it here.
[1:01] And, of course, this is kind of a two-fold usage in this passage.
[1:12] One dealing with the king of Babylon, but it refers to Lucifer and uses that name. And so it's kind of a symbolism of what happens to Lucifer here.
[1:23] So in verse 12 of Isaiah 14, here's how it reads. How have you fallen from heaven, O lightbringer or Lucifer and day star, son of the morning?
[1:37] How you have been cut down to the ground, you who weakened and laid low the nations, O blasphemous satanic king of Babylon. And you said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven.
[1:49] I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will sit upon the mount of assembly in the uttermost north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds.
[1:59] I will make myself like the most high. Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol or Hades to the innermost recesses of the pit. That's the region of the dead.
[2:11] Those who see you, and here it is. Those who see you will gaze at you and consider you saying, Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms?
[2:23] And that's in the original, that is expressed in a way of astonishment here. Are you the man, all right, that's done all this? Those who see you, again, will gaze at you and consider you saying, Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world like a wilderness and overthrew its cities, who would not permit his prisoners to return?
[2:46] All the kings of the nations, all them lie sleeping in a glorious array, each one in his own sepulcher. But you are cast away from your tomb like a loath growth, a premature birth or an abominable branch, and like the raiment of the slain.
[3:07] And you are clothed with the slain, those thrust through with a sword, who go down to the stones of the pit, into which carcasses are thrown, like a dead body trodden underfoot.
[3:19] Now, catch this just a minute. This really gives us a, gives us a, something to really think about. how easy is it, how easy is it, for us, even redeemed, for us to succumb to the influence of Satan, or the natural man within us, under its control.
[3:43] How easy is that? Some days easier than others. Yeah, yeah. And sometimes we do that. But think about it just a moment.
[3:56] The day is going to come, even, you know, even though he has that, he has that ability to influence the soul of man, when we see him, those that see him, are astonished, at what he is.
[4:19] You know, and with the idea, how can I have allowed, this guy, to influence me, in a sinful way?
[4:33] How could I do that? And if we can kind of catch that vision, in our minds, perhaps it will help us, when the natural man within us, attempts, to influence us, away from the will of God, no matter what it is, to be able to withstand that, and resist that, and depend upon the spirit of God, and his deliverance from that temptation.
[5:02] So, just something for us, to think about. So, last week, we saw Haman, hanging by the neck, and that gives now, a, a, kind of sets the stage, if you will, to, to, bring in a new, administration of government, if you will, even though it's still King Ahasuerus, King Ahasuerus, is going to have, a different influence, upon him, that's, that will cause the, the kingdom, to rejoice, and, even change its behavior.
[5:40] All right. Now, as we go through this, keep in mind, that, that the kingdom, the kingdom of Ahasuerus, the 127 provinces, represents, the human body.
[5:52] Okay. It's the human body, through which, we, conduct, whatever, actions we conduct, throughout our days. All right. Because we're going to see some of that, tonight.
[6:04] Now, so, we can rejoice, and we can be glad, in what we see here, taking place. Now, Mordecai, now, comes before, King Ahasuerus.
[6:17] There's some things, that have to be taken care of here. And, we see that in chapter 8, of Esther, verse 1, for Esther had told, what he was, unto her.
[6:28] In other words, Esther told, King Ahasuerus, what Mordecai, was unto her. And so, he comes before, the king. So, Esther explained, to King Ahasuerus, that she belonged, by adoption, now remember, to Mordecai, who had intervened, to save the king's life, from the hand, of the assassin.
[6:49] Remember, that was something, that he became aware of, on that sleepless night, while he was reading, the record of the chronicles. And that, for the king, to be identified with her, with Esther, inevitably, involves, his identification, with Mordecai.
[7:07] It's going to have to happen, that way, if there was going to be, harmony, in his relationship, to, the queen. Alright? Hubby, always has to have, and needs to have, a good relationship, with the father-in-law.
[7:20] Amen? Yeah, yeah, okay. But that's, what's going to happen here. So you see, the intricacy of this, of the influence, now, that Mordecai, is going to have, upon King Ahasuerus.
[7:32] So, this is going to be, the idea of the Holy Spirit, have an influence, upon, the soul of man. So, in the light of, all that had been revealed, to him, and with a profound, sense of gratitude, not only for the preservation, of his own life, that's the king, about, talking about the king here, but for his deliverance, from the subtle, destructive influence, of the enemy, within the palace.
[7:57] So, verses 1 and 2, of chapter 8, of Esther. On that day, did the king Ahasuerus, give the house of Haman, the Jews enemy, unto Esther the queen. And the king, took off his ring, which he had taken, from Haman, and gave it, to Mordecai.
[8:13] Now, notice, again, two things, that take place here, that, that, uh, uh, King Ahasuerus did. First of all, he placed the ring, upon Mordecai's finger. But secondly, he entrusted, the administration, of Haman's estate, to Esther.
[8:28] Now, you remember, what the ring represents. That's the king's ring, uh, that had been placed, on the hand of Haman, the finger of Haman, uh, that gave him, all the authority, of the kingdom.
[8:40] The only one above him, was King Ahasuerus. He had dealt, with everything else. We saw that, with Joseph, in Egypt, in the Old Testament. All right, but here, he now places, that ring, upon Mordecai's finger, but he entrusted, the administration, of Haman's, estate, to Esther.
[8:59] So, in this way, although the king, invested Mordecai, with all the authority, that once had belonged, to Haman, the authority, was to be exercised, according to what, Ahasuerus, now considered, to be the better judgment, of Esther, the queen.
[9:15] Now, think about that, just a moment now. Always remember here, it's the Holy Spirit, that influences, our spirit, which is, Queen Esther.
[9:27] And the spirit, then, influences, the soul, the mind, will, and the emotions, from which, comes the actions, of the body.
[9:40] Okay? So, you see that picture here. Now, but, Esther, for her part, indicated, at once, where she knew, the better judgment lays.
[9:50] All right? It was not in herself, but in Mordecai, whom she set, over the house of Haman. So, here again, she recognizes, Mordecai's influence, and Mordecai's wisdom, is better than hers.
[10:05] So, in verse 2, of chapter 8, Esther set Mordecai, over the house, of Haman. Now, consider that, just a moment.
[10:16] The king then, King Ahasuerus, identifies now, his will, with that of Esther. Esther now, submits her will, to that, of Mordecai.
[10:31] So, you see, the body, submitting itself, to the will, of the spirit, and the spirit, yielding to, the Holy Spirit.
[10:41] Man's spirit, yielding to, the Holy Spirit. So, a beautiful picture, there. And that's how, God has, determined, it was to be. How it was to be, developed.
[10:52] Alright? Now, there's, there's, spirits of significance, here, that's, that's quite obvious. When the soul, consisting of the mind, the emotions, and the will, which is King Ahasuerus, when it is, in total harmony, with the desires, created by the Holy Spirit, within a healed, yielded, human spirit, and again, by the way, there is, the, the key, it's the word, yielded, alright?
[11:20] By the yielded, human spirit, then the fullness of God, is at work, through, the believer. Look at Ephesians 3, 14 through 19.
[11:32] For this cause, Paul praying, of course, for the church at Ephesus, for this cause, I bow my knees, unto the Father, of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family, in heaven and earth, is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches, of his glory, to be strengthened, with might, by his spirit, in the inner man, that Christ, might dwell, in your hearts, by faith, that ye, being rooted, and grounded, in love, may be able, to comprehend, with all saints, what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height, and to know, the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled, with the fullness, of God.
[12:17] Alright? Now, let's take a look back, just a moment, if you will. By the way, the fullness of God, is everything God is, in himself, at operation, within, the body.
[12:29] Alright? Within the individual, believer. So, an overall picture, of the significance, of all of this, as we look back, and see some of the things, we've covered. First of all, remember, we saw the Holy Spirit, resisted, portrayed, by the situation, recorded in chapter 3.
[12:47] Outside the palace, remember, Mordecai was always, sitting at the king's gate, while Haman, passed by. And, Haman, by the way, at the moment, was, planning, Mordecai's destruction.
[13:02] So, and the reason being, that he didn't like, Mordecai, he was afraid, that, because he refused, to bow, in, in Haman's presence, was afraid, that he would gain, access to the king, thus, influencing the king, in some of his decisions, and that would bring about, the law of Israel, the law of the Jews, that God had given them, into play in the kingdom, and Mordecai despised, that law, because it went, totally different, totally opposite, of what his desire, and law for the king, was to be.
[13:39] And then we saw, the Holy Spirit, received. Chapter 2, showed us, the Holy Spirit, coming into, the human spirit. So as Mordecai, came into the life, of Esther, which the basis of that, was adoption, just of course, as you and I, are children of God, by the spirit of adoption, or the making of adult sons, literally, is what that is.
[14:05] Romans 8, 16, the spirit itself, bears witness then, with our spirit, that we are, the children of God. And then we saw, the Holy Spirit grieved.
[14:17] As we began, chapter 4, again, Mordecai sat clothed, in sackcloth, and ashes, crying with a loud, and bitter cry. So Mordecai, had come, into the life of Esther, and she did, the commandment, of Mordecai, like as when she was, brought up with him, in verse 2, of chapter 20.
[14:38] But Mordecai, had not yet, come into the life, of the king. All right? Into the human soul. Haman still, dominated the scene, and projected, his evil influence, then, throughout, the kingdom.
[14:56] Now, what does this picture, what do you think, the picture of this is, or what does this, make a picture of? This idea here. Look at Romans, chapter 7.
[15:06] Again, we've been here before, but remind yourself of it. Romans, chapter 7, verse 21, through 24. It's the picture here, of the Christian, that's been defeated, because he just can't seem, to get it right, as he knows God desires it.
[15:22] All right? Paul, again in Romans 7, verse 21, through 24, says, What a, remorseful, attitude, we see here, in the apostle Paul.
[16:03] Wants to do what's right, wants to do what God directs, but he can't. All right? He finds himself, not being able to. Now, after that, then we saw, the Holy Spirit, being quenched.
[16:18] That was the picture, painted next, as chapter 4 continued. Esther was reluctant, to obey Mordecai's instructions, remember. He said, You've got to go in, and see the king, and talk to him about this.
[16:32] She hesitated to go, unsummoned, into the presence of the king, because, it would, possibly, cause her death. So, to hazard her life, in the interest of her people, that's the Jews, so that the seed of Abraham, might not perish, was just unthinkable to her, you remember.
[16:52] Now, even though Haman's wickedness, had been fully exposed, to her at that point, until she was prepared, to die, to the reality, that she, did not have the ability, to hang Haman, then it was impossible, for Mordecai, to assume responsibility, for putting this enemy, into the place of death.
[17:14] Now, let me stop there, and just ask you another question. How many of you, find yourself in that same boat, that Esther was in? Yeah. Knowing that the Spirit of God, wants to do his work.
[17:28] But boy, isn't it hard for us, to give up control. Amen. And even think, man, I can do this. I can face this, right? Yeah.
[17:40] Yeah. And so, we've got to realize, and recognize, we cannot do this thing. And God never called us, to fight, the natural man.
[17:55] Amen. He told us to resist, the devil. But we have to submit, to the reality, we cannot do anything, to control the natural man.
[18:06] Only the Spirit of God, can, and does, thankfully. All right. Now, until Esther, came to that reality, that she did not have the ability, to put Haman on, on the gallows, then, the Spirit of God, is not going to be able, to, put him, on the gallows.
[18:26] The Holy Spirit, then obeyed, came to its climactic conclusion, the latter part of chapter four, introduced us, to the implications, of true discipleship. On the third morning, Esther, as good as dead, remember, entered into the royal palace, and the king held out, the golden scepter.
[18:45] Losing her life, she found it again, to be identified forever, with God's people, with God's power, and, and God's purpose. All right.
[18:56] Now, think about that, just a moment. We come to that point, where we see, the fullness, of the Spirit, the fullness, of the Holy Spirit.
[19:09] Now, king's going to have to come, into, or, or, or, the king has been enlightened, and now has, saying to it, that Haman has been put, on the gallows.
[19:26] Now, when the enemy, or with the enemy, disposed, and Mordecai, with the king's ring, upon his finger, occupying his estate, and then, with the king and queen, at one with each other, in honoring Mordecai, with all the executive powers, of government, the stage has now been set, for a new and glorious regime.
[19:46] Again, catch that picture. Mordecai's got, the ring on the finger. He is in charge, of everything, in the kingdom. Esther, and king Ahasuerus, are one, in agreement, one with each other, in honoring, Mordecai.
[20:05] So, you have, the human soul, and the human spirit, agreeing together, that the Holy Spirit, is going to be in control, of this thing.
[20:17] Alright? Now, so that's going to make, a tremendous change, in things, that we see here. That regime, when established spiritually, within our very soul, the mind, will, and emotion, means that, not only does the Lord, Jesus Christ, live by his spirit, within our human spirit, but that he now, controls your mind, your will, and your emotions.
[20:41] And I want you, to notice something here. Although, if we put it in perspective, and consider that, the human soul, is probably, at the top of the list, as far as the, the, the, the ladder here, that we have.
[20:58] And then the, the mind, will, and emotion, the human spirit, is at the top, the human soul, down here below it. But, recognize with me, what control, what really controls us, I'm not talking about, the sin nature, but what really determines, the actions we take, through the human body.
[21:19] What determines that? The mind, the will, and the emotions. Now, be careful with that. But, we're not going to do anything, if we don't think about it.
[21:33] All right? We won't do anything, unless our will, is in it. And then, however the emotions, are going to fit into that, they'll fit into that.
[21:46] See what I'm saying? And we'll see a little bit more, about that, after a bit. Now, what's got to happen is, the human spirit, will influence that, the soul, the mind, the will, and the emotion.
[22:05] And that will determine, the actions of the body. So, who's going, to influence, the human spirit? All right? Of the three aspects, or elements, of the human soul, what is the strongest aspect, or element in that?
[22:33] The will. All right? The will. That's why, that's why, throughout the scriptures, and especially, in the ministry of Jesus, we come across the idea, of the necessity, of dying to ourselves.
[22:46] Dying to our will. Making it, so the will that we have, is the will that God has. Or let me reverse that. That God's will, is our will. All right? And the only way, that can happen, is for us, to submit ourselves, completely, to the spirit of God.
[23:09] Amen? Now, I think we'll get, to some of this, a little bit later. So, I don't want to, get ahead of myself here. All right? So, he's going to have to, control all of that.
[23:22] Here's a good question, for you. Is it possible, for the Holy Spirit, to influence, the human spirit, without the human soul, being influenced?
[23:40] In other words, if the spirit of God, is influencing my spirit, does that mean, I'm not going to do anything, with my mind, will, and emotion, that's against the will of God?
[23:55] Put the application, of it together. Mordecai, had come into, the life of Esther, after Mordecai, had revealed, the evil character, of Haman, to Esther.
[24:13] And then Esther, revealed that, to the king, at that second banquet. What did the king do? When he said, who is this guy, that's determined, this evil?
[24:29] She said, there he is right there. Haman. What did the king do? He got up and left. What do you think, he was doing, when he got up and left?
[24:43] Wherever he went. Not very far. What do you think, he was doing? Thinking. Thinking.
[24:55] What was he thinking about? I know, I know this is speculation, but you got to consider this. What do I do here?
[25:07] This is my right hand man, whom I've trusted, I've given power, the kingdom to, and to this point, he's not ever disappointed me, never done anything, that, as far as I knew, that, that was against, what I believe.
[25:25] And don't forget, he was also his cash cow. Yeah, yeah. He, he was my friend. All right. So what am I going to do, about this guy? Now, he had to mull that over, just like, our, soul, has to mull over, what the spirit, what the human spirit, controlled by the Holy Spirit, is trying to show us.
[25:57] So it takes, yieldedness. Now, what caused, King Ahasuerus, to yield, to it? Well, when he came back, in the room, what was Haman doing?
[26:16] Yeah, yeah. Slobbering, all over himself, trying to beg his way, out of this thing, to Queen Esther. But yet, the king, when he saw it, thought he was bringing, ungodliness, to his wife, to Esther.
[26:32] So that is all it took. They came, and they covered his head. Amen. As good as dead. Kaput. Remember? Yeah. Yeah. So, so, so that's what, that's what, that's what, King Ahasuerus, the human soul, saw.
[26:52] So, what did he see? When he walked in that room, and saw, Haman, prostrate on that couch, that she was laying on, what did he see?
[27:09] the evil, ungodly character, of Haman, that he had never seen before.
[27:25] Okay? And that's what it takes, for our soul, to come into, into agreement, with our spirit, with the Holy Spirit, is influencing, influencing, our spirit, is for us, to be able to see, what the Holy Spirit, is trying to tell us, about, or what our spirit, and the Holy Spirit, trying to tell us, about, the sin nature.
[27:50] Amen. How wicked, and how ungodly, it is. Now, King Ahasuerus, did not have, any writing, any scrolls, that contained, anything about, the true character, of Haman.
[28:06] You and I, have the word of God, to express to us, the ungodly, character, of the natural man, within us.
[28:18] Amen. Controlled by Satan, all of those things. So, it should be, much easier, for us, influenced by, in our spirit, by the Holy Spirit, to allow, our spirit, to influence, our soul, so that we live for God.
[28:42] Amen. And honor him, through that. Yeah. That's why, it's necessary, for us, to stay, in, the word of God. So, that regime, when established, spiritually, within our soul, means that, not only does, the Lord Jesus Christ, live by his Holy Spirit, within our human spirit, but that he now, controls our mind, our will, and emotions, because we've yielded, to that.
[29:08] By all that you do, and say, and are, his life, and likeness, then, will be expressed, through, our lives, themselves.
[29:20] Now, people around you, become aware, of the fact, though they might not, understand it, now, that by the exceeding, great and precious promises, you have become, partakers of the divine nature.
[29:35] They don't know, what's going on, but they know, something's happened here. So, it's important to remember, that at this stage, of where we're at, in the story, that though, Mordecai is welcome, at home, within the palace, he continues, to communicate, with the king, through Esther, the queen.
[29:53] Alright? Now, verse 5, of chapter 8, Esther spake, yet again, before the king, fell down, at his feet, and besought him, with her tears, to put away, the mischief.
[30:08] Alright? So again, it's the, it's still dealing with, he has not, done this yet. He's hung Haman, because of what, she's revealed to him. But, the decree, has not been, canceled yet.
[30:23] Alright? So she goes in, again, falls down, at his feet, besought him, with tears, to put away, the mischief. Let it be written, to reverse the letters, devised by Haman, the son of Hamadatha, the Agagite, which he wrote, to destroy the Jews, which are, in all, the king's, palaces.
[30:44] Alright? So, that had to be dealt with, that had to be taken care of. Now, realize something here.
[30:57] There appears to be, a duality, in the exercise, of, the human conscience. Moral conscience, seated in the human spirit, the animal conscience, seated in the human soul.
[31:09] Alright? So you have the, moral conscience, and the animal conscience. Alright? Moral conscience, dealt with, doing what's right, just because it's right. Alright?
[31:20] But the animal conscience, dealt with, the consequences. Alright? And that's, the idea here. Got the same thing, with the human will. So when you exercise, your animal will, you make an animal choice, governed by, your animal conscience.
[31:37] On the other hand, when you exercise, your moral will, you make a moral choice, governed by, your moral conscience. conscience. Okay? Now, there's a lot you do, a lot of things we can do, to exercise the animal will.
[31:53] That has no moral significance, whatsoever. Alright? Even though our behavior, may still be governed, by your animal conscience, the animal conscience, remember, just determines, what it's going to do, by what the consequences are.
[32:10] Alright? For example, let's say, you're sitting in your front room, or your den, you've got your fire, going in the fireplace, and a log falls out, of the fireplace. What are you going to do?
[32:22] Alright? Are you just going to reach down, and get it? Pick it up, and throw it in the fire? Now, the plumber may do that, but, but most of us, would do that.
[32:35] Alright? So, there's no, there's no moral issue here. It involves, the decision, of what to do, just simply by, an animal choice.
[32:47] What's going to happen? If the consequences are, if I grab that, throw it on the log, it's going to burn me. So, I'm not going to do that. I'm going to find some other way, to do it. Alright?
[32:58] So, we exercise our, our animal will, the same way, an animal does. Alright? We walk the same way, that an animal walks, except we have two legs, instead of four, unless you're on your hands, and knees.
[33:11] Amen? Alright? You sit down physically, the way a dog sits, you get into a car, the same way, you just do those things, without any moral aspect, involved in that.
[33:24] Now, the moral aspect, of that may come, if you're at work, and you're sitting down, when your job, determines that you're, supposed to be standing up, to do the work.
[33:38] Alright? That moral factor, comes to play in that. Alright? If you're paid to be, standing up, and working, and you're sitting down, then you've made, a moral choice.
[33:51] Same thing, with, the physical act, of walking. Alright? Just walking, in itself, there's no moral aspect, to it, until it comes, to the point, of taking a direction, here.
[34:05] Alright? Which direction, are you going to go in? Then that moral aspect, of it, comes. You know, what direction, am I going to go, go in?
[34:16] What company, is it going to enable me, to keep? Where does it bring me? Same thing, about stepping in your car. You step in the car, you sit down, you turn the ignition on, and you drive, down the road.
[34:31] Animal, animal wheel here. No moral, aspect of that, at all. Until, we come, to, the stop sign, and the intersection.
[34:42] Alright? That's where, the moral, aspect of it, comes. Which way, am I going to turn? If I turn left, it'll take me, to the bar, where I used to go, when I was an alcoholic.
[35:02] Now, but if I turn right, that's going to take me, to, my house, and my family. Alright? Which, I will have enjoyment, to see them, they'll be joyed, that I'm home.
[35:18] Alright? So, which way, am I going to do? That's where, the moral, choice, comes in here. The moral, aspect of that. Now, what's going to happen now?
[35:33] Even though, you're born again, the sin principle, that still operates, within us, and it's going to seek, to dominate, our animal, will.
[35:46] Alright? So that you make, the decisions, which will be enabled, enable the flesh, to use your body, in order to realize, and satisfy, its carnal appetites.
[35:57] Now, catch that. Well, how many times, how many, I know all of us, can say this, how many times, have we just, kind of, the natural man, just kind of, slipped up on us?
[36:08] I mean, you may be like this, driving down the road, just, happy-go-lucky, and all of a sudden, take a wrong turn. You're influenced, by something.
[36:22] Something's going to tell you, to turn, to the left. Alright? You never thought about it, but that moment comes. Alright? And so, the natural man, wants to, feed, that, animal will, so that it can be, it can be satisfied, the natural man, can be satisfied.
[36:45] At the same time, it's going to seek, to silence, the moral conscience, to persuade, your animal conscience, that you can do it, and get away with it, without any, unpleasant consequences.
[36:58] Ah, sly fox, isn't he? Yeah. I'm not going to ask you, to raise your hand, but I can tell, by the grin on your face.
[37:09] How many of you, have experienced that? Yeah. Yeah. I know it's not right, but hey, it's not going to matter, that much.
[37:22] It's not going to hurt anything. What's the old phrase? Nobody's going to get hurt, amen? Yeah. Yeah.
[37:33] Yeah. Subtle. Subtle things, that come upon us. That's why we need, to constantly be yielded, to the spirit of God. You can get away with it, without any, unpleasant consequences.
[37:46] So, at the same time, your moral conscience, that's quickened, and undergirded, by the Holy Spirit, within your human spirit, will exercise, exercise its moral will, to plead with your animal, will, to put away the mischief, saying in so many words, as Romans 6, 13 says, do not continue offering, or yielding your bodily members, to sin, as instruments, of wickedness, but offer, and yield yourself, to God, as though you have been, raised from the dead, to life, and your bodily members, and faculties, to God, presenting them, as implements, of righteousness.
[38:29] All right. So, a lot of times, people say, all right, right here, is where I have a problem. All right.
[38:40] That's exactly, where I come to, and I have that, problem, when I get, to that, intersection. That's where the problem, lies most of the time.
[38:53] Amen. With our decision, making process. So, if the flesh, is successful, in silencing, our moral conscience, and exerting, its influence, upon, our animal will, then we'll turn right, at the main highway, or turn left, at the main highway, and end up, at the club, morally defeated.
[39:14] So, we just have to be, be careful. Now, so again, if that's where, we find ourselves, having the problem, when we come, to that intersection, to determine, with our moral conscience, which way, we're to go, and we find, ourselves failing, in that choice, there's an answer.
[39:35] All right? Because, a lot of people, that's where, a lot of people, become defeated. How do I, change this? How does this, matter? I mean, how does this come about, that I don't have to have, that battle within me, when it comes to that point?
[39:50] All right? Well, there's an answer. All right? And, we'll get that next week. Let's pray. Father, again, thank you for your loving kindness today, and your goodness to us, and the privilege we've had, to be back together today, to look back into your word.
[40:10] So, Father, again, I just pray, and ask that you, make us even more, and more aware, of the power of the, the sin nature, controlled by Satan, no matter, no matter what his, outward countenance is, he still has the ability, to influence our lives, and so, I pray, Father, that you will enable us, to be keenly aware of that, keenly aware of his character, like that of Haman, that everything he intends to do, in our lives, is for, is for his design, for his pleasure, and not for God.
[40:47] So, Lord, enable us to be able, to yield to your spirit, and rejoice, in the power, of the yielded life, and, the victory, that we can have, in our life, through that.
[40:57] Again, thank you for these, precious folks, and pray to bless them, the remainder of this week, and be back next week, to see what you have, to show us, and we'll thank you for it, in Jesus name, for his sake we pray, amen.
[41:09] Thank you.
